Notes: This is the first of two sons of William Guthrie and his second wife Frances Wilbourn named after their father. It is believed that this William Guthrie was born 7 September 1731. The 1897 publication of the Parish Register lists William’s death date as 1 Jan 1731 despite listing his DOB as 7 Sep 1730. Since his sister Mary was documented as being born in March of 1730, it is more likely that William’s 1731 DOB is correct and that 1732 is the correct DOD.
