NOTES:
There are discrepancies with the estimate for Faulkner Guthrie’s birth year. If he was the oldest son he would have been born 1817-1820. If not the first, he could have been born 1821-1825 or 1825-1830. There is no data on his marriage, and he does not appear in the 1850 census.
Faulkner apparently drowned in north fork of the the Platte River (probably in Nebraska) on his way to California in 1851. The California Gold Rush hit in 1849, so that is a likely cause for his journey.
