The printed entry uses Masey and Guthery, with abbreviated forms of his parents’ given names. It identifies him as their son but supplies no birthday or age at baptism.
A birth in August or early September is a working estimate based on the short intervals between birth and baptism often seen in this parish. It should remain separate from his recorded baptism date.
